How To Buy a Rug

You begin the buy process by searching for the rugs of your choice and putting them in your shopping cart. Once you have made your final selection, you will be required to provide your credit card information, billing address, and shipping address. The information will be submitted to Rugcenter.com.

Rugcenter.com will run the credit card to authorize the charge (this is only a charge verification and your account will not be charged yet). If your credit card authorization is denied, a customer service representative will contact you. If your credit card authorization is approved, Rugcenter.com will check for the availability of the rugs. If the rugs are no longer available, the Rugcenter.com customer service representative will contact you and help you locate similar rugs.

The rugs will then be shipped to you and your credit card will be charged. Shipping usually takes 3-5 business days. All rugs are shipped fully insured and worldwide shipping free on all purchases. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return process within 30 days of shipping. For more information read our 30-Day Return Policy.

How To Return Your Rug

You may return your rug as long as you initiate the process within 30 days of shipping by contacting our customer support team at (650) 938-7846. The Rugcenter.com customer service representative will initiate the return authorization process for you. If the return is valid, you will receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Once RMA number is issued, within 72 hours, you have to ship a rug via UPS/FedEx to the rugcenter.com. Once the rug is received back by our distribution center, we will conduct an inspection.

Within 5-10 business days of receiving the rug, Rugcenter.com will issue a refund to your credit card.

How do I know your prices are fair?
Rugcenter.com directly imports a rug from the overseas. In addition, the rug center has their own rug industries in India, Pakistan and Nepal. The rug prices shown are posted only after they are inspected and awarded a certificate of authenticity. Our professional appraisal system includes a 13-point patent pending process. By setting this standard for the industry, we are insuring the true value of the rugs purchased through Rugcenter.com.

What kind of search can I conduct?
You can conduct easy, advanced, and visual searches. To do an easy search, go to "Search" page, choose "Simple Search" and enter the appropriate information. To do an advanced search, go to "Search" page, choose "Advanced Search" and enter as many attributes as you can such as pattern, style, make, etc. To do a visual search, go to the "Search" page and choose from rug thumbnails. The Visual Search will find rugs with similar attributes to your selected rug.

How do I create a Personal Gallery?
You have to register with Rugcenter.com in order to create a Personal Gallery. If you are registered, you can click on any rug image and go to its details page. In the details page you can click on the "Add to Gallery" button to add the rug to your Personal Gallery. On your subsequent visits, click on the "Personal Gallery" button and enter your user name and password in order to access your Personal Gallery.

When will my credit card be charged?
Rugcenter.com will charge your credit card the day the rug is shipped to you.

How long from the date of shipment before I receive my rug?

Do I need to be present when the rug is being delivered?
Yes. A signature will be required upon delivery of your rug.

How will I be contacted if I do not have an e-mail address?
The Rugcenter.com customer service representative will contact you via telephone.

Who is responsible if the rug is lost before I receive it?
Proper insurance coverage has been provided by Rugcenter.com in order to cover the cost of such loss.

How do I manage my account?
From "My Homepage" choose "Account Settings." In "Account Settings" you can change your e-mail, password and mailing address.

How do I view my orders?
From "My Homepage" select "Order History." Click on any order in "Order History" to view order details and status.

How do I return a rug?
Within 30 days of shipping, you may initiate a return process by contacting us at (650) 938-7846 .

How do I track my order and shipment?
After you place your order, we send you a confirmation e-mail. When your order is shipped we will contact you again with the necessary information. At any time, you can check the status of your order under "Order History" in "My Homepage."

How do I sell a rug?
Contact us at (650) 938-7846 , and a customer service representative will assist you in initiating the sell process.

Do I need to pay sales tax on my purchase?
Our system will automatically calculate sales tax on your order if the shipping address is anywhere in California.
